Sunflower Skins was birthed of my fantastic delirium in the summer of 2005. Beginning as a small cut-and-paste project on my bedroom floor, I self-publish Sunflower Skins chapbooks of stories and fragments and have distributed them both professionally and guerrilla-style across North America. I work with my partner Thom Bacchus Roland. I have a B.A. in English Literature from Huron University College, and my style is heavily influenced by poetry, rhizomes, and visual presentation, as well as horror and exploitation films, comic books, and various branches of philosophy.
Currently I am working on a collection of Stupid Children Stories. I also regularly post comics to my blog. In April 2012 I was at Shock Stock again, London, Ontario's horror and subculture convention; items available included chapbooks, buttons, t-shirts, postcards, and toys.

I love glow sticks. They're a cheap toy that you can share with friends and use for a number of projects; my favourite is strange photography with the family and derpasaurs.

I love toys, especially Lego and pretty much anything dinosaur-related. Check out some of my comics, a mad fusion of ridiculous playtime and digital photography. The latest comic includes a Sister Sister Button and Guam's finest Shakespearean impersonations.

Here at Sunflower Skins we love spiders. Most creatures with 8 legs, actually.
This is the latest, starring the new friend who appeared in our kitchen last week, a tiny jumping spider barely the size of my pinky fingernail:
