Hi!
I'm Loz and my zine is RAISE YOUR HAND. RAISE YOUR VOICE.
This is my first zine and hopefully the first of many! The main theme of the zine is art and culture, with an underlying riot grrl element (how could it not?)
I'm currently a "mature" student at Leeds College of Art and Design and I'm studying Visual Communication.
My other interests are vegetarianism, knitting (badly!), world cinema, japanese animation (whoop whoop studio ghibli), baking, photographing everything, music, gigs, feminist literature, illustration (obviously!), printmaking, playing guitar.............
Happy to do zine swapsies just as soon as Issue #1 is finished :)

So........The theme will be about following your dreams as this last year I've just returned to art college and it's been a struggle to juggle everything (ooo stuggle to juggle.....may use that phrase!) Also I would be good for anyone that is stuck in a mundane job like I am and wants to do something different. So I guess issue #1 will b…

I like knitting, but I'm really bad at it.........
........what would make it really fun, would be a stich 'n' bitch group here in Leeds.
So, if there are any keen knitteratti out there, beginners or pro's - get in touch and we should start a weekly meet in a coffee shop or maybe the common place?

Will include interviews with Julianna Luecking, Caroline Pratt of Pink Parakeet and Rachel at Cherryade Records :)
Still taking submissions if you're quick (need to get to print very very soon!)
