Cheaptoys.

I'm in punk and zines, both since 2002-03, but I've only started to do my own zines in 2009. well, I helped to fold the music zine of the collective I was in years before but wrote only ONE lame pop punk review... I do write a bit more since then. I'm an anthropology student at the university of Nice and work on a master on zine trades. I am also interested in librarianship, and criticism of tourism/local politics. You can get pretty much all the issues of cheaptoys still in print from me (as bus stop press) or on the fight boredom or syndrome de galilée distros. you can also get the most recent ones at les fictionautes in Nice, FR, Sticky Institute in Melbourne, VIC, Portland Button Works, Quimby's in Chicago and Boxcar Books in Bloomington, Indiana. In person these zines are "prix libre" or pay whatever you want, but these places will most likely put them between 1 and 2€$£. I think we should trade anyway.

Just to make sure, Cheaptoys are text-heavy bilingual zines, french & english and they're not each other's translation either. It is usually 50-50 but I guess the latest review in maximum rock'n'roll is true : "to get it all, you got to either read the two languages or like google translation a lot."

2012 Sweating Pepper : 16p a zine for hot sauce enthousiasts

I wrote 24h zines, do cut-n-paste art for flyers and record booklets & did contributions to a bunch of other zines including Fight Boredom, Dirtbag Travellers, le Photocop, How to Write Dirty, Basements & Living-Rooms and Neurones. I'm trying to collect all the pieces that have been published (but mostly not) by other folkds into one single zine. Also, I edit a callendar for DIY events in the french riviera. It's called "Plus d'Excuse".
