i use Sakura Micron pens, usually a 1 or 2, on Bristol Board, which seems like a good choice for originals that last. I also use a metric heinieload of white out. And I write really really small as Joe and other aging readers of the East Village I...

well, the New York Post just interviewed me for a short article about zines. But somehow I don't think the Post readership is the natural demographic.

Those are some hot-ass names, y'all! The East Village Inky references the neighborhood where I was living when I started the zine, and my daughter India, nicknamed Inky, who was why I started it (to keep from going crazy, creatively). It's intent...

Opened the envelope from you a couple of days ago and stayed up way too late reading of your adventures in Alaska. (Heidi and those cats sound like a pain in the ass. I hoped you changed their names so you don't get sued! But seeing a glacier sounds rad!)

Can't say I was as enthralled by tales of applying to middle school, but that too sounds like a huge pain in the ass, without the exotic locale.

I do appreciate the trade and hope you are enjoying the poetry.

Stay in touch about your projects, ok?

Received the packet from you today. Thanks a bunch! I haven't had a chance to open it yet. (The post office had a bunch of mail accumulated in the back for me, for some strange reason, so I got a huge fat stack of envelopes today.) Looking forward to seeing what you sent. Thanks!
