Swap-bot collaborative zine is out now!!!
Update July 31, 2009: I am moving to León (another city in Mainland Spain) tomorrow morning :) Excited, hesitant, scared... I won´t have Internet access until at least August 17th but if I have arranged a trade of zines with you know that I have written down all address on my notebook and I´ll be posting packages these days. Gosh I am gonna miss this page! I really hope I will be back sooner than expected.
Update July 6, 2009:
And I think Sam (Aussie zinestress) did a fantastic work on collating all of the girls´ stuff.
I contributed two interviews I made to male members on the website (there is a wee CD competition on it as well...)
If anyone wish to trade a copy of the zine for one of yours (I adore perzines and those on vegetarianism, politics, social change... you name it I love it!) feel free to drop me a line :)
I am a 31-year young zinestress from the Canary Islands but residing in Mainland Spain. I had my first zine out aged 9 (it included my views on politics (really!), changes I suggested to U2 lyrics and ehm... stories about Ken and Barbie... lol so yes, a weird kiddo I was ;))
My love for zines rekindled about 3-4 years ago and I am reading as much as I can, collaborating on some projects here in Spain and abroad with other zinesters and finally putting together what will be my first ever zine in English. Wish me luck! :)
Hobbies other than zine-making? ... Drinking tea, cooking, Shiatsu, laughing, cultivating long-lasting friendships, drawing like a 5-year old (and having the same amount of fun while doing it!), reading (of course!), dancing, admiring male beauty, visiting art galleries and these days I am more and more fascinated by anthropology. Oh let´s not forget my love of dogs (esp. huskies).
I adore real letters (snail mail) too!
