Hi FolksI'm in the process of oganising a weekend Conference in Brisbane/Ipswich (possibly Aug 8/9) for the Society of Children' Book Writers and Illustrators in collaboration with the Children's Book Council of Australia (Qld). I'm a newbie zinester who enjoys playing with lettering and occasionally draws things. My first zine is on its way and will focus on expressive calligraphy. I look foreward to seeing what everyone produces. Thanks for having me here!

thanks for the great comment, i am glad you like my art! i wish i could participate in your project too, that sounds great, i have thought about doing a zine in a similar fashion, but working out the details is always the hard part, especially since most of it would have to be done via email or snail mail. what an awesome comic you would have doing it that way though!! Are you working on a zine now?
