Introvert, Click Clack, & The RVA Zine Fest.

THIS IS ME

I am Nicole Introvert. I have written the personal zine Introvert for about 12 years now... and yet am only on issue #6... slated to be out BY January. But isn't that how we zinesters work? I love zines and zine culture. Independent media is one of the most important things in my life.

I have recently started Click Clack Distro. My goal in that is to distribute zines and zine related items to help make them more attainable. Being in zine culture for over a decade I have seen a number of distros open & close... or "open" and then are never heard from again. I felt the need to open this distro to have something solid and hopefully make it an important part of the zine community by providing proof that zines are still alive.

I also am an organizer for the Richmond Zine Fest.

Click Clack Distro Fights SIDS

October is SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) Awareness Month. As you may or may not know, I have a newphew who passed away at 4 months old from SIDS in the summer of 2007. My zine Introvert #6 is about my experiences with that trying time in my family's life.

For the entire month of October 20% of all sales at Click Clack Distro will be donated to First Candle, a SIDS organization t… Continue

Hi Nicole, I don't even know what to expect at a zinefest...like, what would be there? I've seen a couple'a pictures of loads of tables and stuff.

What is the trading etiquette? I've never asked someone to trade in person before.

Uhh, what else...umm, how do you get a table? Any advice on getting that table noticed? God, this is fascinating. I look forward to this article.

Oh, yes, I TOTALLY understand you not being able to give me Jenna's contact info. But yes, next time you contact her, please do ask if I can contact her or give her my email address (chantelcherie [at] yahoo [dot] com) or just tell her I think her zine is amazing. I will order more copies to give away.

And I also want to say that I am super happy with Click Clack Distro. My zines got to me really fast with no problems. Thank You!

Hey Nicole,

I received my order from Click Clack Distro. thanks! i was going to save all of it to read on an upcoming trip, but I ripped the envelope open this morning to find something to read while I waited at the dental clinic. I pulled out Revolution by Jenna Renegade. I was so enthralled while reading it. It is Lovely. LOVELY! It is such a nice zine, so sweet and positive. I really want to send Jenna fan letter, but couldn't find an address. Do you know how to get in touch with Jenna?

Once I get my finances in order, I am going to order a stack of this zine to hand out to my friends.

Thank you for having this zine in your distro!
