Me

Well, I used to be a big Zinester... out of Columbia South Carolina. Now I am a blogger. I blog fashion and pop culture on the two blogs I run and have an application in for an internship at another fashion blog. 803 MARKESE STREET(www.803street.tk) is pop culture and POSH(www.poshmag.tk) is fashion.

I am an AVID reader so I still want to get back into the zine scene but there is none in South Carolina. I'm moving to Tenessee and really and truly if you send me your zine and I like it I'll blog about it, no lie, and if I don't like it... well I'll probably send it back because I do realize that I am not the end all be all to tastes and someone else could use it if I can't.

One of these days, when I get more time I want to get back to zine writing because I had one zine that started off pretty decent called OD... that actually inspired me to do my blogs but, yeah if you write zines and need another reader GET AT ME!!! Oh and people use me for consultation all the time so if you want you can send me your zine, and I can write you some notes, and suggestions and send it back to you with the zine so you're not really missing out on the zine...

markese91@yahoo.com is one way to contact me.

I'm also on TWITTER(www.twitter.com/markese), FACEBOOK(Facebook.com/markese91), and MYSPACE. Check me out.

Yes Yes, I'm finally doing it I'm starting up a zine!

I'm back and I'm ready to write. I've been trying, hoping and praying that I could get back into the zine world by reviewing but, well no one is really responding to me. Hmph!so because of this, I think I'm just going to go ahead and start a zine. It's going to be VARIED! Well content will be! I am like a split personality type of guy so anything that pops in my head and stays there long enough to be put on paper will get there.Of course I have some long term goals like, reviewi9ng other ziens,…See More

POP UP SHOP:An Idea I'm mulling over.

So, this is the thing. I'm in a new town, a very SMALL college town, and I'm saddened by the lack of, alot of things around here. The idea I'm mulling over right now is to set up a pop-up shop that would contain among other things, clothes, CD's, and ZINES!!!!I created this discussion to see who all would be interested.See More
