Zines are pretty rad. Also: robots, bicycles, comic books, falafel, hedgehogs, dinosaurs.

I have volunteered, tabled, and run workshops at the Portland, Brighton, and London Zine Symposiums/Fairs.

I helped organize the Birmingham Zine Festival.

I created the Midlands Zinester group on this site, and have organized several meetups.

I run the 365 Zines a Year blog.

Some zines I have made (None of these are in Russian by the way, that's just cover design):

I. A Fable (December, 2009)
2. A Bicycle Trip – Vancouver, BC to Portland, Oregon (January, 2010)

Matthew's Adventures in...
Russia: How I lost my passport and had a horrible time. Quarter sized.
Thailand/Cambodia: Backpacking fun! temples, etc. Quarter sized with fold out full size map.
Vietnam: Same trip, huge fold out map. Quarter sized with fold out 11 x 14 map. (Cannot currently make copies because of North American/Britain paper size differences.)

Other zines
Vancouver: Map/guide to part of the city. 11 x 14. (Cannot currently make copies because of North American/Britain paper size differences.)
Sugar and Snails/Slugs and Spice: A Vancouver Food Not Bombs Cooking zine. Half size flip zine.

I was also in Fine Literature #2, various issues of Stumptown Underground (which is also on ning), and the zine OW: Other Wo/Man.

More to come soooooon I hope.

Ask me if you want to trade!

I also make artist trading cards (ATCs). Here is my ATC blog, ask me if you want to trade some of those too. Though if you trade zines with me I will probably just send you one anyway.

I started the Vancouver Food Not Bombs blog last year, but nobody else seemed to want to update it, so it has just become about me going to Food Not Bombses wherever I travel.

Also: an article I wrote on zines at the Vancouver public library.

Matthew, don't go to any trouble on my account. I can see the red on black with my 3.25-magnification readers fine. And again, maybe my system displays your page different than yours does. No big deal.

Yes, a lot of the print is white on black and that's easy to read, but the "active links" are red/burgundy. Maybe they're different on my screen. But not huge deal. Just sort of an offhand comment.

Matthew, I hate to gripe, but your burgundy print on a dark grey is absolute hell to try to read.

I don't know man, I never got them if you did. And really it's no big deal, it seriously took me about a month and a half to even get my zines in the mail to you so I'm just as bad.

Ok well dang. Then these are the ones I would pick next in order of importance.
