Jessica White and the Zine Machine's page

Hi, I'm Jessica and I make lots of different zines, some under my name and some under the imprint of Heroes & Criminals Press. A few of my favorites are: Choose Your Own Moral Code, Art School Chronicles, Dingbat, and hisWorld/herWorld (made with my boyfriend, Scott).

I live in Iowa City, IA, and am working on a certificate in Book Studies at the University of Iowa Center for the Book. I spend a lot of time letterpress printing.

I also work at the U library and run the Zine Machine there. It's a vending machine that sells zines and mini-comics, run by students for students. We try to encourage zines made locally, but love getting zines from all over the country, so send me your zines if you want to participate in this project. (go to the website for all the details)
