Hi, my search for mimeograph information led me to a thread you commented on, which mentioned that you know of mimeograph owners ready to pass on the trade in L.A. I'm currently in SoCal & would greatly appreciate any information/help in acquiring a mimeograph. [My aunt was a teacher in the 70's & thought I was weird for wanting one. She said they were big, heavy, dirty, smelly, & obnoxious to use. I do not care! I have been keen on a spirit/ditto or mimeograph for a decade now (albeit hunting on & off).] I recently found 3 packs of AB Dick stencil paper in my parents' pile of things to get rid of & snatched them right up. Sadly, they didn't have a mimeograph to go with it. That's how my current revival search started. I hope you don't mind this long comment on your wall. I wanted to contact you privately, but that requires a friend request. [Which would be fabulous! But I'm not hurt if you don't accept.] Thanks for your time, Captain!
The group I was referring to isn't associated with Sisters Camelot directly, we just rent space from them, kind of like the Grease Pit and the Belfry, although we are on pretty good terms with them and one of our group works for Sisters . There is a space upstairs though too that Sisters tried to have a music venue at but it got shut down for fire code. Sisters isn't using it at all now it's pretty big up there, also our space is available too. One of the guys involved used to be very involved with printing until his divorce left him gearless. I'm a little backed up as far as projects, but if you are willing to wait I could take a look at your amp. Sorry I didn't reply right away...I was computerless for a little while.
