Profile Information

Oh oh oh

I'm Danielle Rodeo Warhola.. I make a zine called Resume of charm. Issues 7, 8, 9 and 10 are avaliable. Seven is a greyhound road trip, eight is about gentrification of seattle, suicide, and florida. Nine a feminist response to high-end sex dolls. I have also done split comic-zines with MC Firedrill, called "You are very deer to me". I also made zines called Bright eyes (1-6), Love Explosion (1-3) and burning bridges. The Cocteau twins zine and some other crap that I won't give you anymore.
I have been known to teach zine workshops, and was a voulenteer at the zine archive publishing project for three years and an organizer for DIY Academy in seattle 2006. It has been a lucky life, and It might be because the zodiac says "Hello, Little Rabbit!" I'll trade you in addition to zines handlovemade stuff like plush toys, jewlery, slowed and throwed mixtapes, stickers, tiny streetart pieces, and other stuff.

Most of my zines can be purchased at the Ms. Valerie Park Distro.

Keep writing keep fighting. <3

Hey folks! Pretty soon We're going to be thickening the zine collection at red and Black. While we've got an awesome selection of zines, we'd like to have more contributions from local folks to include in the permanent collection. Our focused Genres include animal rights, politics, (A) feminism, queer lib, DIY. No poetry, but we love all other types of zines. We'd love to have more PNW illustrators and comic makers included, as well. There is a collection box at Red and Black, or you can…

Hi, Danielle! I just saw your comment- I'd love to meet you but I'm more of a zine fan than I am a zinemaker, so I don't have much in the way of trade... let me know the next time you're in town! I can take you on a one minute tour of the Olympia Library's zine collection (it's teeny tiny)...

I would love to get a copy of your greyhound road trip zine. I have taken so many greyhound road trips and kick myself for not making a zine about them. (I rode from Lawrence, KS to Miami to protest the FTAA and then a few months later took an even longer greyhound trip to Ontario, Oregon to visit my partner in prison. Both were zine writing opportunities missed!)

Anyway, i would love to trade my zine about spending a month last summer at a writer's retreat in rural Kansas. Please let me know if you are interested. You can leave me a comment or add me as a friend and then send me an email message.
