Every time I hear a story like this, I want to give the person a sympathy pat on the back. Ha. I hope, in the least, that there is a person out there with the opposite story, about "wow, one time I stumbled across these toy cars. Some lady was just getting rid of them." I never hear that story though!

Actually, my story would be sort of an inverse as well. It goes like this: "I keep collecting all these things, and no one throws them away, and none of them are worth anything!"

Point taken about Billy Da Bunny's comments. However, as this was meant to be just a light hearted sharing of my experiences maybe I should have put the word 'horror' in quotes. All things are relative and I'm well aware of what is happening 'out there.' Most importantly, I hope that those who watched were entertained by it. I entered this video because of the nature of this network and the fact that comics were involved. Everything expressed here is in the spirit of friendship and goodwill.

Thanks for the comment.

Horror story? Mike, you seem like a nice guy. But if that's the worst horror you've ever experienced, then you'll probably get by in this world. You know there are people with REAL problems out there, right?

I like story telling, and I applaud your effort. But I'm not exactly shedding tears over this one. Cringe was a good word though. It's a cringing moment. A "d'oh!" moment. One of my grade school teachers had the same story, about his mother throwing away a $9,000 baseball card while he was away at camp. Oops. Annoying, but not horror.
