hey thanks for coming last night! I enjoyed your piece about coins! I actually just sent my zine to Zine World for a review a few days ago. But how many reviewers are there? and are you local or are you in TN (the address was TN)?
I am excited for the day the goodies start rolling in from that letter! I have passed it on to several friends, at least one of whom was very excited and h passed it on too.
Alas, my sister didn't want to participate because she was afraid that she wouldn't get back something equal to what she sent out. Whatever. What she doesn't understand is that now there is no possibility of getting back something better than what she sent out.
I'm probably wrong, but I can't see why only zines shouldn't follow the rules that are usually applied to other so-called intellectual property. You take a book, a CD, a thesis, etc. They always spell out very clearly what you can or (usually) cannot do with them. (And yet people keep copying them).
The funny thing in all this, by the way, is that I've never photocopied a zine.
PS Nice blog.
Ciao HR, ok it's "dumb question time" and you have been lucky enough to get one from me. Do you see any particular technical difference between a zine and, say, a trade book, or a CD, or a DVD?
