Hi Lizzie! It would be about $2.50 USD to send those two zines to the UK (a little over 2 ounces). I would be happy to send you a copy of both #2 and #5 of Pieces. Just let me know where to send. Please send the mailing address to my email: (which I also use for Paypal if you do that) nichole[at]illvision.net. Thanks for your interest!
I do have an etsy shop you can purchase through, though it's empty right now. I went a bit broke and ran out of copies... but everything should be back in there by the end of the month. I'll let you know when I get things together. :) thanks for being interested!
thanks for commenting!! I would love to trade! :) I'm a little new at this so I don't have tooooooo much to offer, and I'm still trying to find my voice and such. But I'll read anything =]
And Tegan and Sara are pretty amazing. Wish I'd gotten to see them live!! :D
Thanks for the interest :). I emailed you (at the distro address) a few days ago because I wanted to send you a copy but was wondering where to send it - maybe you never got the email? Anyway, don't worry about sending £, would you be able to add the price to any new distro credit I accrue instead? x
P.S. But please email/PM me about where to send it, thanks!
First, thanks for the interest in my zine - I was really flattered that you were interested in my zine and I would definitely be interested in having stuff distroed at some point. However I re-read it and well...I sounded very young. I wrote that zine nearly a year ago, when I was 14 and although I still really like a lot of the stuff, some of it (especially the 'serious stuff') does at times feel a little half baked. However it is very much a 24 hour zine. Anyway waffling on here - I'd be happy to (like to) send you a copy and I would be really interested to know your opinion (having not had feedback from anyone outside my family) but I wouldn't be certain that you'd want to stock it. Great sales pitch, eh?
Whats this point five about eh? Its a good length, but becase I read it in one sitting it seemed to be over before I'd finished it! Maybe a few tips on travelling on random countries' transport systems, tegan and sara fan facts and small bits and pieces like that. Do you keep in contact with anyone you met on the tour?
I got the zine you sent me, thanks Lizzy! I enjoyed reading it, made me want to listen to Tegan and Sara on SPottify to work out what songs you were getting excited about. Only complaint if anything was that it was too short for my liking:P
Hey, thanks for you comment and praise :) Actually yeah I was very involved with the Women's Campaign at Nottingham Uni! I left a little while ago though and don't really know what they're up to now. How did you make the link? Do you know other people there ? Small world I guess :)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the Sugar Packet Project. I keep wanting to find the perfect thing to put inside it but, ever the perfectionist, I haven't come up with it yet.
yay, happy it all arrived safe and sound. xx
