Errmm no im ironicly ordering it now ,so hopefully the touch and go fanzine will be within my grasp in the next few weeks :).There's nothing better than recieving stuff in the mail, honestly. But yeah thanks Kitty i appreciate the offer and of course i'd love to trade with you in the future, once the prospect of my zine is fully in place and up and running, that would be awesome.
I've always wondered what do you do when searching bands to feature in your blog is it simply based on the just featuring bands you like or is it the fact that a band could be doing really well for themselves, like releasing a record in the future and that you wanna give them like a push? I was just wondering what you did.
Sorry for the long reply,My favorite zine would have to be What Would Henry Rollins Do issue 5 its awesome, as well as a few flipside issues.Errm thats kinda a hard question but i guess i would model it off Maximum rock and roll but more perzine-ish i suppose.I've been told the best thing to do is jump in and develop from the first issue but i want to contribute to others before i start my own i guess. Its nice to hear from someone who is interested.Whats your current endeavours regarding I'm One of an odd family issue.
:).Nice to meet you Im Aaron.Errr regarding my zine i definently want to write something which revovles around the fanzine aspect of zines regarding the promotion of bands, interviews and so forth but i also want to inject some the general norms of perzines but emulate that aspect to an extent where its refreshing and doesn't become all dull and boring and about how my Hardcore band's songs dont sound like Government Issue at all hahahaha, but its a work in progress i guess and i just want to fully delve into the conventions of zines before i pursue it fully.
