I was at the event @ Housing Works Bookstore & Cafe the other day! It was a fun time, though my friend and I are both newbs and a bit shy when it came to interacting with people :x
LOVE the book, by the way! I've already been to a bunch of places that are listed :)
I wanna get a copy of your zine. I'll be in new york in feb, can i assume it's available at no rio or bluestockings? If not, how can I get it (not worth the post to get it over to the uk...)
Haha, I just had one late night of joining a million groups, I swear!! I haven't been very ziney in the zinester community, and figured maybe I should get some info going and some distro action, if I'm going to suddenly be a ZINESTER GUIDESTER! Love to help you out more, and I have some art I'll try to figure out how to make to your specifications, but I'd love to grab some some coffee or lunch or a drink soon, because I still feel like a zine virgin and I'd love to be more prolific and out there in the world. Your advice would be supurb!
Opened the envelope from you a couple of days ago and stayed up way too late reading of your adventures in Alaska. (Heidi and those cats sound like a pain in the ass. I hoped you changed their names so you don't get sued! But seeing a glacier sounds rad!)
Can't say I was as enthralled by tales of applying to middle school, but that too sounds like a huge pain in the ass, without the exotic locale.
I do appreciate the trade and hope you are enjoying the poetry.
Received the packet from you today. Thanks a bunch! I haven't had a chance to open it yet. (The post office had a bunch of mail accumulated in the back for me, for some strange reason, so I got a huge fat stack of envelopes today.) Looking forward to seeing what you sent. Thanks!
Wow! Thanks for telling me about using the Femmenstruation Rites Rag with Inky! I will be excited to read the piece you wrote. When will the anthology by available? Hope the zine was helpful to Inky and not just weird. Inky's hitting puberty?!! Wow again! (Insert line about time flying here.)
