I just wanted to say thanks for your PM, sorry I haven't replied yet. I'm not ignoring you, just really busy, and I'll reply when I have the brain power to write more than a few sentences at once!
oh, thank you! sorry to take so long, I haven't been on this site much lately. Busy with school and moving. I actually haven't been doing many zine related things at all lately... but I'm hoping to get out of that slump soon. Anyway, I'm really flattered and once I'm involved in the scene again I may take you up on your offer! :)
Hey Ivone, I do remember you and I'm excited about your distro project. I normally wouldn't consign my zine to a distro other than my own but I want to support you starting a distro in Portugal. Please let me know what issues you are interested in and any other support I can give. Thanks :) -zeraph
Hey there Gomes,
Thanks for commenting; I could send you a few copies of issue two out if you like? Because they take a while to put together and cut 'n' all that I only make small quantities, so it really only would be a few but yeah, if that's cool with you then that'd be awesome..? I'll throw in a copy of issue one for your personal enjoyment though for sure hehe :) Let me know what you'd like to do :)
Oh, and I'm loving the cliche hard hat 'Under Construction' picture on your site. Brilliant :D
obrigado por me adicionar! (thanks for add!) - visto que você é de Portugal, posso falar português um pouquinho... te envio breve uns zines para avaliação na sua distro. tem algumas coisas já no meu blog. obrigado mesmo pelo interese, e vamos nos falando! abraços!!!!
Portimão, Faro, Lagos were all places I went to alot as a kid! Though I (well, my parents) moved around alot while we were in the Algarve. We also lived in Vale de lobo, Praia da luz, and we lived/worked at a hotel called the A kalina in Albufeira. I should maybe scan in some photos or use them in a zine.
I remember in England I couldn't really run off and explore anymore - I just somehow knew that. There's definately a feeling here that you have to be a bit more defensive.
I'd been used to selling strawberries on the market stalls, and finding old wells and derelict farms, and being taken in by families.
We used to travel alot then overland between Portugal and the Uk or to Germany. Definately a time of change. I'd love to revisit Portugal, I've never been back since being a kid.
