cheers for the comment on the group. we'd love for you to be involved, met with peter tonight - my working partner on the alternative press stuff and was impressing upon him the importance of the fem zine scene and having input in the book, please let all the other zinesters etc you know about it as we really want to bring everyone together for this... take care
yeah it was cool, didn't get there till late though... managed to see a few people i hadn't seen for a while and some that are going to be at the event on sunday... most people knew about the event... which was great! see you on sunday?
picked up a copy of "the worlds a mess...." at the women's library today, haven't read much yet (i have a really short attention span and tend to read little bits here and there over months!) but i thought that the opening page was really inspiring - and it's really the message that i'm trying to get across with the events we're doing - that people can do it themselves and don't need to rely on the mainstream media to write or draw or whatever... i guess you're coming from a slightly different angle but nonetheless it was great the way you talked about how supportive the scene was and how it made you feel to be a part of it, if more people could feel that about their local scene or community then i think our problems as a society would be considerably less! well done,
hey there, your projects seem facinating. i was orignally halted by your screne name and being a long time cure fan, just had to check it out. about Lola, waht's been a good staple that's been carried out throughout the/your experience? have fun at the zine fest!! c.g.
cool, well if you like the look of it then come down, bring some of your zines if you want we've got a communal table y'know... anyway, see ya... oh yeah, the drawing thing, you should give it a go, it's just lines!
hey cheers for being my friend here! i love the drawing above, the one with the girl sitting playing guitar and stuff, a really lovely drawing style you've got there, come along to this event and bring your zines for the communal table... cheers
