Hi I saw your post in 'Fanzines' about punk rock submissions on a project you're working on. First off I think you rock and second, I have a lot of punk rock knowledge within the time frame you requested, but it's mainly the 80's hardcore scene, like the Dead Kenndys, Black Flag, Minor Threat, U.S. Bombs (Duane Peters), etc... era! Also, the rise of the skate punk scene is another area I know well, being I was a pro skater in the 80's and a innovator of the whole skate rock genre that was born in that era. I know you requested the post punk, grunge type music scene call for submission, but I thought I would offer up what I do know just in case you needed some fill in material type submissions from a seasoned veteran of the 80's old school, hardcore, punk rock, club life, washed up, half baked, refusing to get old, idiot guy's world that I was so closely involved in, HaHa! Anyway, I do have a few popular blogs I run if you want to see any material, if not no worries and no pressure at all, because really, I'm super busy, but I thought I would offer anyway to help the causes I love . Super nice home page you have here and I love the beats too. You're truly a bangin off the hook girl in my book.
Hi Trinity! Thats great that you're making zines in Sac, there definatly aren't a lot of zinesters around there, and unfortunatly I just moved away again. Laura-Marie of Functionally Ill still lives there though, and her zine is really great.
Wow. You seem pretty far-out. I'm pretty boring...mostly aspire to be in the library. I do reccomend friending Mad Cap Amy--who turned me onto Visual Kei music...also Heather Wreckage who has lots of ties to Sacramento.
Mostly lately I have done work on Slingshot Newspaper...and a lot of my back issues of Zippo are available. Hear from you soon
