same here, I wish it was something that happened more often. and no, I ran out of money... haha. I'd love to live right in Halifax, I feel like being on the outskirts means I often KNOW cool stuff is happening, but I can't always get to it. oh well, soon, I hope! and yes, I am, my name is Jillian Shields.
it's great to meet you!
I wanted a 5.7 inch one similar to http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=1726...I like them better than the larger ones and they're less expensive. I'll look at the websites you've sent me. Do you have any recommendations as to where else I could look based off of what I'm looking for?
Hey Jenny; I wanted to ask you about your BJD's! I've been wanting one of them for awhile, but they are SO expensive...I was wondering if you knew anywhere I could get one for cheaper. I've been looking at the ones at bluefairyint.com and http://dollmore.com/. Where did you get yours, and how much were they?
Thanks for your interest in reading more of my zines. I am not on Etsy, although I have been wanting to open an Etsy shop for a while. Maybe I will use my transition time to open one.
Usually you can order zines directly from me. However, right now I am living in Portland and my zines are living in McMinnville, Oregon, about an hour away. So it might be a month before I can fill any orders.
How's the artist zine coming along? I am in the process of moving and don't have a good forwarding address yet. If you aren't sending out the artist zine this week, could you hold onto my copy until i get a new post office box? Let me know what's up and I'll keep you posted.
I'll put a copy of Open Book in the mail to you on Monday. (I'm pretty sure I still have your address. If not, I'll ask you for it.)
I don't know if you should look at Open Book as representative of 24 hours zines as a genre. (Hmmm...that's the first time I've thought of zines as having genres, but I think they do.) It's the first I've done (and I think I've seen only one other one) but if it inspires you, I'll be pleased about that.
