I have maybe a weird question for you: I'm going on tour soon and was wondering if you knew of a good place to do a reading in San Francisco or Berkeley on Friday, July 17? I mean like a donut shop or a hidden park where people would come out? Or, I guess, a real place like a bookstore that would have us.
great to hear back from you! i have issue 118 of slingshot, very great issue. really glad to see a zine/paper covering the black lives matter movement, and the issue of structural racism in our country in general. i am moving shortly, so don't worry about sending me anything back for now. i'll just send you a copy of the latest issue as soon as i can ( :
thank you for the nice review of new hearts new bones issue 14 in the winter edition of slingshot. slingshot is super inspiring i love reading all the different articles. i have gotten some requests for my zine also because of slingshot !! thanks so much (:
Wow, thank you for taking the time to add it to the website! I really appreciate that (: I also got my copy of Slingshot! it looks amazing, I love the newspaper type format I can't wait to read it. ALSO I got your letter and thank you so much for the letter and the neat assortment of stickers, do you print those off yourself? I think it'd be really fun to make stickers.
See you at the Blatz show! I'm bringing you a copy of the Friendcore comp tape since I have no fucking clue what was done with the Bel-Tower ones. (By the way, the building we inhabited is scheduled to be the first in Fresno to be purchased by the state and torn down for the highspeed rail. Talk about a fucking bummer.)
Hahaha! Youth, do what he has done! He's putting out this rocking radical newspaper that has been around forever! Yayyy re: you at LA Zine Fest! I will be there too! I have a table, so I hope we can meet up! :) P.S. LAZF Pro Tip: If you're not tabling, get there EARLY! I couldn't even get in last year because I showed up too late and the line was around the block.
