Hey, thanks for sending Absolutely Zippo and Road Most Traveled! You made the local music scene of then and now come alive. Really enjoyed reading them. I'm going to make a "Favorite Zines" stack in my zine collection, and the punk flyers issue of Absolutely Zippo is going in it. No foolin'! I was impressed with the range and humor! Tell me which issue(s) of Shards you have and I'll send you some ones you don't have.
Yes, would love to hear your feedback! Believe it or not, Shards #9 is now published as well. Make sure to message me your postal address if you want a copy. Happy Spring back, it's been a long, cold So Cal winter. :) (I'm partly serious!)
Hi Robert! Thanks for the nice comment about Shards #6. I'm glad you liked it! Let me know if you'd like my most recent, #8, and I'll drop a copy in the mail for you. And if you have anything you'd like to share, I'd love to read it!
Congrats on amassing a big zine library. I have a growing collection, but it still fits in some bins. I'm guessing I'll keep collecting and wake up one day and say, "Wow, I have a zine library. How did that happen?"
yeah I got your package...your name written with thick marker was sitting vertically above all the mailboxes, watching my neighbors passing, until I came home and rescued it. Too bad I know from the tracking that my letter in response is stuck in Milan from over 2 weeks.
For all those that don't have the right connections to get to know stuff (as I do): my birthday is on May 17…....
Funny, I was just thinking about our skits last night. We should meet up soon for that, I like George Carlin a lot and I like Mitch Hedberg, but he has perfect timing and thats something I really need to work on. What kind of booze do you think George Carlin drank while he wrote comedy? I'm thinking scotch.

Hey Eggy, I hope I get the new zippo in the mail. I kind of want to come in person for the next issue of slingshot cuz it just hasn't been working out to try to coordinate illustration by email. Oh ya but the main reason I'm on WMZ right now is to tell you I'll be at a show at Gilman tomorrow.
Thank you for accepting. Oh no that's fine - it was the least I could do in return for yours! Summer is pretty damn good so far (started Thursday), I'm done in school so I guess I have to start life now! Hope your summer's going great too.
That sounds awesome - like looking back on past parts of yours and other people's lives. Ah, no worries, things that matter take time and there's so many other things that we have to fit in too, not to mention computers.
I think I'm going to do something about being "home" and being abroad next and maybe see where the trips takes me. I think I've solved my print issue now too, so I can fully print the zine with maybe not too much of a cost. I will probably start fiction/poetry writing again, now that I am "free" for a couple of months.
Thanks for the review! I really appreciate it, and I've gotten a lot of mail haha. My PO box is feeling more worth the money. I intend to be at Gilman on the 17th; my friends in Sci-Fi Caper and Tyrannosaurus Zebra are playing, and we're trying to take as many Fresnans as we can up there to see them. You should try to check them out!
Thanks! I'm glad it got to you. The postal service has been a little sketchy lately. I'll have a new issue of otherXcore done really soon, I think, but I'm still working on it. I may be doing a collab with a friend of mine, too, over the winter. Pictures are fine by me!
