Thanks for the note. If I sent you the call for submissions do you think that you could pass it along to any potential zinsters? I would also be very interested in hearing your ideas about other places that I should post it, or people that I should contact about submission. thanks for the help!
Tim Scannell directed me to you based on my interest in zine-reviewing. (He said you were definitely the go-to person for any advice or questions concerning the matter...:D)
I'm totally into ordering a copy of Zine-World; I'll be getting my order in the mail. Thanks for the awesome work!
Thanks for the help. What app did you use to get that nice, stand-alone info box at the top of your page? I actually was able to get one up on my page (originally with the sale ad), but I forgot how to do it again! So frustrating!
Hi Jerianne - thanks for friending me. I'm still trying to figure out the interface for We Make Zines/Ning. How did you get such a nice layout, and make that Introduction header?
Just seen your post on the UK and Ireland board and I would love to help out with reviewing. I have always thought that a zine review section of a zine is the most important, as its what keeps the community going and its always nice to find out what other people think about a zine you've already read. We don't really have a regular review zine in the UK, though over the last year the first zine yearbook and zine directory for the UK were produced; so its definitely heading in the right direction!
Anyhow, yes I would love to help out, I can write, I like to review things, I'm nothing but honest and I don't mind my address being shared.
do you know about "art-o-mat"? they convert old cigarette machines to vend art (that fit in cigarette box sizes). i've seen them in north carolina (where they started, hah!), massachusetts, and chicago. maybe there's one in your neighborhood?
