Thanks for getting back to me about the article I was writing. I did get enough input for it. In fact, I got more information than I could use in one article, so no worries about you not being able to participate. As far as I know, the article will be in the new issue of Zine World, which should be out any time now.
I am writing an article about We Make Zines for the upcoming issue of Zine World. I am trying to get input from folks outside the USA. If you are interested, please post a message to me and I will arrange to send you the questions.

Wicked, thanks for keeping me updated Kate. Am crossing my fingers that she liked it ;)
Absolutely poor. I was one of three zine stallholders. One left before it even began because we could see it wasn't going anywhere - the person running it wasn't even there at the time it was supposed to start. Another person set up and sat down to read a book for an hour or so then cruised. Which left me. I did sell a little bit of stuff though. And I gave two people (of my three customers, but two were friends) copies of Story To... and at least I'll have it all ready to go for the next fair, which is in Penrith Regional Gallery. A bit twilight markets with a variety of artsy things.
Hey kate, maybe try Space Thing in Wellington (they are on this we make zines thing too) and the Freedom Shop also in Wellington...Also, Cherry Bomb still sells zines and comix at zine fairs/festivals etc, and are headed down to the wellington zine fest in November, so if you want to give us a bunch to put on our table let us know!
We'd love to stock your zine in the shop. Feel free to bring them in in Person or mail to Hand Held Gallery suite 18, the Paramount centre, 108 Bourke street, Melbourne 3000. Maybe 10 copies to start?
I read it a few weeks ago when I first heard about it and then again on the train yesterday. I think it's a great read.. and certainly perfect for my commute. From a design perspective it's beautiful but it feels a little bit empty once I printed it off.
hey kate! i printed off a bunch of Story To... for the zine fair on Sunday. And I made up these miniature 'flyers' that say your web address so when I run out of them people can still get them!..
