Are you still looking for a pen pal? I was just reading your comment in the Pen Pal group and I thought I would just drop by. We have a lot of things in common! One thing that caught my eye was that you love thrift stores and you are a "fashion designer". Same here. I am also another transplant to the south. I used to live in Detroit, but now I live in Orlando, Florida.
Leave me a comment if you're interested. Have a nice day, whenever you get this. ^_^
how rude of me, i forgot to reply to your comment :( sorry!!. i havent made my zine yet, but when i do it will be about all kinds of things really. itll have thoughts rants, opinions, etc in it :D i just wish i had the confidence to make it. lol :P
Hello there! I'd love to trade zines, but the only zine of mine I currently have issues of is a tiny mini thing, so I'd feel bad trading it for a 'proper' zine! Would you like me to send you some money with it to make up the amount or something? It's always nice to meet other people with M.E. too. :)
Hehe, all good! On the group Let's Trade Zines, you said "this looks awesome! unfortunately i only had one zine to trade!" And this came right after my post so I assumed it was about my zine :-)
Yes, trading would be awesome! I'll send you a copy of issue 14.
I'm sending you my address in a message.
Sounds like a plan. I am excited about taking a look at your zines, and if you know any other zine folks that you think would like to donate to the project please let me know. I look forward to talking with you again soon.
Thanks for the note on the group. We would love to have your zines in the collection. Part of what we are doing with the zine is collecting the work of people who live in the South and are writing here. I love the Portland zine connection as it seems to be the kind of place where people just want to make zines. You said you were in Bham temporarily. How long with you be in the South?
