So, I finally got your letter in the mail earlier! I was waiting around so I could hopefully print out a free vegan cookbook zine or two for you, but I never did get around to it, so I wrote you two of my favorite recipes instead. Don't worry, I typed it this time, so maybe you won't have such a hard time reading it? ^_- I've been listening to a lot of The Smiths lately, so there is a little mail art surprise for you. Have a nice day, whenever you get this. Nah, I haven't forgotten about you. =p
Wow, high praise indeed! So so glad you enjoyed it. I'll certainly keep you updates, AOI #2 is being put together as we speak!
I'm sorry I haven't got on here sooner to tell you I got your gorgeous kitty kitty zine. I love the beautiful card cover, the drawings of kitties and your awesome quirky handwriting! I think the best drawing is the cute chinese kitten waving.
Your comments made my day and motivated me, thank you sooo much. Hugs!
Hey Deb I saw your post about making a photozine! That's awesome, can't wait to see it! Why don't you come join the photozine group on here and share it with us?
Okay, Deb; I'll check out Kitty Kitty. My address is Ken Bausert, 2140 Erma Drive, East Meadow, NY 11554. Let me know yours and I'll get a copy of my Chronicles out to you tomorrow.
hello there! Hope you had a nice holiday season. You must be pretty busy with everything right about now, so I figured I would drop by to see how you were doing? Have a nice day.
Joan here! I was reading your profile, and I see you have a mental disorder. Both my daughters do too. Liz age 49, is clinically depressed, can't work, and on disability. My youngest Susan is manic depressant, married and has 2 sons. Both are on medication. I wish they were normal. Two of my cousins have it too, so I guess they inherited it. :(
In reference to your question if I make zines. I haven't yet, but will soon. I use to self-publish newsletters back in the 80's & 90's. I plan on reusing some of the articles from the newsletters to create zines. My newletter was called "Hobby News". Topics ranged from needlework, to pet care, recipes, hobbies, and much more. I have a lot of info to work with, just need the time to do it.
Thanks for answering my comment. I have all my designs in a scrapbook, the scrapbook is nothing like the ones people make today. Right now I have no idea where the scrapbook is, I'm so disorganized. lol When I find it I will scan some of my drawings, and post them for you to see. Most of the drawings were done when I was 16 yrs. old., so they will be rather dated.
I design clothes too. I went to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) here is NY in 1959, on a partial scholarship. It only lasted 5 months, so I quit, parents couldn't afford the tuition back then. I learned a lot back then, in that short length of time. Got married and had kids, sewed for myself and my 2 daughters. I am now 69 and sew mostly for pleasure.

Hey Deb! How are you? I really need to apologise for not writing in what feels like forever. Are you still at the same address? Bettie x

Oh silly me! I just saw where you live on the top of this page.

Hi again Deb,
I forgot to ask you something. Where do you live? I live in NYC.
