Thanks for sending me your zine, I really enjoyed it a lot! I told my friend who lives in Chicago to keep an eye peeled for you if you're at the zine fest! I also love your zine reviews, they are pretty entertaining. If I ever get around to printing my zine a copy will be sent your way for sure!
Do you ever listen to "Coast to Coast", the radio show that used to be hosted by Art Bell? If not, you really should. It's usually about supernatural and paranormal stuff, but the weekend host is going to talk about Columbine tomorrow. At least I think that's the plan. The website lists tomorrows show as being about Bigfoot, specifically his relationship with Native American cultures. But I figure that will be a pretty good show, too.
Yeah, I'm in Kansas City now, but not for long. I'm not calling you a liar or anything, but KC really isn't so cool, unless I've managed to miss all the good parts the past three years. I'm actually thinking about moving up to Chicago. It's either there or San Francisco. Maybe we'll be neighbors.
Yes-that picture of the 'torlit' is from the back of ButtragMag #7 which is a silly, toilet humor zine that I like to poop out! A lot of crazy artists have contributed to it lately-so that's awesome! Comics, illustrations, butt pics, ass poems, silly band interviews. Shit like that. I'll send ya a copy for any silly, smutty zines ya got going on or a picture of your butt! Which will go into ButtRagMag #8 due out March 10th!
just watched the vid Joe Beil made.. it was pretty awesome.
also just watched your review.
it was great!
thanks for taking the time to do that!
i read your zine (number 6 i think) a couple of weeks ago and it was really great.
i was going to write you a letter and ask you if you wanted to trade more zines, so you can expect one in the near future..
talk to you soon,
-ben (on behalf of the HM Collective)
p.s. not that it matters or anything but i thought i'd let you know that kid cutbank is just one person (me) and hoodrat militia is a collection from all the kiddies here in W.B.
Good to hear from you again (read from you again?) I'm sorry you saw me play guitar, that must have been an unpleasant experience. And thanks for telling me your mom liked my zine; I get a weird thrill knowing cool folks parents liked my zine.
sorry its taken me forever to thankyou for sending me your rubbish.
Thankyou so much your package was great - I feel like a detective or a strange stalker putting together bits of your life. I especially liked the newspapers for a bit of insight. I can't wait to get started on the project now
