Hello friend of Sticky. If you have made a zine recently, are still reprinting old copies of a zine, have old copies lying around or are thinking of making zine, we want you to stock it with us! If you haven't stocked with us before, here's how you do it. Visit our website (www.stickyinstitute.com) and download a stockists form. Fill it out and send it with up to ten copies of your zine to Sticky, P.O. Box 310, Flinders Lane, VIC 8009. We have them on the shelves for 6 months at which time, if they've sold out we'll pay you and if they haven't totally sold out we'll pay you for the copies you have sold and send the remaining copies back to you or donate them to the Exchange Box. To those of you have stocked with us previously, keep sending us your zines! Zine culture is alive and kicking in Australia and Sticky is an ardent defender of zine culture!
Love from Sticky!
I'm working on the 2009 National Young Writers' festival and I want to see what funding I can find to get more regional zine makers to the Festival. Would your group be interested in joining me in this effort? There are Regional Arts Fund grants going in most states at the moment, which you probably no about.
If you are interested give send me a message and I'll give you more details.
" Regional Arts Fund now open: The Regional Arts Fund offers between $5,000 and $30,000 for regional arts projects. The first round for 2009 closes Friday 13 March, for projects commencing after June 2009." http://www.qac.org.au/htm/RegionalArtsFund.asp
