I'm not offering you my next zine because it's all in french, and it's kind of annoying to get a zine you cant read, but I'll send you my next english-language issue (probably The Happy Loner #4 in January) :D
The rumors of me moving back to Portland are unfounded. However, I will be visiting around Thanksgiving. I get in late Tuesday night and leave Sunday afternoon. We should meet up some time between that.
Oh, yeah! That's some old stuff. I'm going to get information up about how to get new stuff ASAP. Currently, I have one comic available "The Day After V-day" on my site, you can find that in the comics section with a link to purchase via pay-pal at the bottom of the page: http://8et8.net/
It depends on what you already have, I guess. I really have to get my store up. But, in the next month I'm putting out a few new things for different events. I'll definitely have some information about them here and on my website/blog.
Hello friend of Sticky. If you have made a zine recently, are still reprinting old copies of a zine, have old copies lying around or are thinking of making zine, we want you to stock it with us! If you haven't stocked with us before, here's how you do it. Visit our website (www.stickyinstitute.com) and download a stockists form. Fill it out and send it with up to ten copies of your zine to Sticky, P.O. Box 310, Flinders Lane, VIC 8009. We have them on the shelves for 6 months at which time, if they've sold out we'll pay you and if they haven't totally sold out we'll pay you for the copies you have sold and send the remaining copies back to you or donate them to the Exchange Box. To those of you have stocked with us previously, keep sending us your zines! Zine culture is alive and kicking in Australia and Sticky is an ardent defender of zine culture!
Love from Sticky!
I loved the assassin and the whiner. Carrie once sent me a baseball card she had made of herself. I still have it. I am just starting to get back into zines. I got bogged down in life for the past few years. It made me realize, however, just how important it is to remain creative. your stuff looks incredible.
