Hey, thanks for the feedback! Makes me happy you liked it.

Oh, and I checked out your blog. I really like the vintage postcards and how you share the messages written on them. I love that kind of insight.

So awesome!  Thanks so much.  I'll be sure to get a copy of the zine we're putting together out to you once it's done!

Um... the *face* of the planet. Apparently I'm still distracted.

Krissy oh my gosh, you must think I've fallen off the place of the planet! I loved your package and you are long overdue an awesome reply from me. I got pregnant and have been incredibly distracted for a few months, but I'm starting to feel myself again and getting back down to mail-y business. :)

Hooray, glad you got the package! Looking forward to yours, but no rush for sure -- enjoy the symposium!! Wish I could be there....

I would LOVE to trade! Probably the easiest way to see my zines is at my etsy shop, but I way prefer to trade than to sell -- http://createorperishshop.etsy.com

Anything that interests you, drop me an address at barcadia@gmail.com and I'll pop it in the mail! :)

And I'm from Ventura too (grew up there anyway, and Port Hueneme when I was little) -- how funny!

Hi Krissy, thank you for the kind comment on my photo! My zine is available online at Made It and (from later today) at Format in Adelaide. Later at Sticky in Melbourne, which is also online. I'm not sure whether to go for an o/s distro or not...would welcome your thoughts!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!  I have a good birthday, but I have to admit today was kind of better.  I listened to cd I haven't listened to in years and read a couple newspapers while the snow piled up outside.  Then I took a nice walk on the quieter streets of my neighborhood.

I hope you're well.

Hi Krissy, many thanks for your kind comment about 'this is water'. Yes you must read DFW!! The short stories are a great introduction to his utterly unique fiction, and for non fiction I would recommend his book of essays "A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again". in particular the piece about cruises which me me laugh so much it nearly gave me convulsions. Hope you enjoy! x

Krissy, I've just found out that there's an alternative to ning. It's spruz.com. They have a ning migration tool as well. It's free like ning used to be. I wasn't sure if you'd heard of them, so thought I'd let you know. Another ning group I'm in has moved there.

Hey Krissy- I don't really care if there's a name list or badges, etc, but I think it might help convince other people to donate. I gave what I could, which unfortunately isn't much right now... but hopefully if everyone just gives a little bit, we'll do okay :) I'll keep my fingers crossed.
