oh, I would love to. I've been thinking about studying abroad over there in my third year of uni, but I don't know how I'd ever be able to afford it... I can't afford tuition now, haha.

it is a lot of fun, and not actually as demanding as you'd think, if you're organized... I always START off organized and then just... well, life happens. :p

and yeah, we're getting into winter-ish weather. it's snowed once. I could deal with a flight to somewhere warm right about now.

haha, don't worry about it, I understand. it's going... well, it's going! only six days left and I'll have to work my butt off (and exams start on the 1st, eek!) but I'm not giving up now.

hey, I just got your zines today, and sat right down to read them! they are ADORABLE! I particularly loved the one about wishing for spring, though I couldn't help but laugh at how the "really cold" you guys experience is what we're getting right now and we feel like we're having a heat wave for this time of year, hahaha. anyway, I hope mine arrived safely- and also, I adored the envelope!! thanks for the trade!

yay, exciting! okay, it's probably going to take me about another month to finish up the zine i'm doing now, and then i think i may want to start the next fairy tale. i've already got some of the stories though, so maybe i should send you an email about it or something.

i got your zine and i loved it! i loved your drawings and your writing. it was so fun to read and look at. and i think that your style of drawing would work perfectly for something i may write in the near future. i've started writing for another fairy tale zine, so we'll keep in touch if you're still interested! it may not be for a bit though, because right now i'm just focusing on 2 other projects. i hate only half-finishing stuff. we'll make a done deal of this, though! hooray!

i'm really glad you enjoyed my zine too, and we should do a trade again as soon as i finish what i'm working on. yes. :)

I'll take some pictures of my prom dress to send to you and see what you think... It actually wasn't a dress I made purely myself; I got the base dress from a consignment shop and then just cut parts out and altered it to fit my needs/specifications (though only the back of the original dress remained when I was finished with it, it's still much easier to work from a base).

Yeah, I meant in that we would draw them when I said the thing about steampunk personas. :D I think it would be more fun that way. As for fictional stories, I'm a lousy writer, so someone else would have to write some things.

And take your time on the package, I completely understand about school. *rollercoaster eyes* :D

Assuming we're taking submissions from other people, we could send out a call for mail art/drawings that are steampunk themed. In the magazine Shoujo beat (its a manga magazine) they have a sort of mascot girl that they use to represent the magazine, and we could do something like that possibly, or as coordinators/publishers we could design ourselves steampunk personas to represent the zine, if you're into that idea. I don't care either way, I'm just putting suggestions out there.

I've made a victorian-ish dress for prom before, so I could make some sort of DIY thing about altering dresses or some such.

Those are just some suggestions, we dont have to use any of them. I'm up for anything you have in mind! WHat are your ideas?
