Re:Art "could" be ready in about a week, especially if I know someone is waiting for it. I just have one more technique description to finish and then I was going to play around with the layout a bit before getting it copied.

Hi, I'd like to trade zines with you. I have a number of zine type booklets that I've made.
One is called Re:Me it is a 1/2 size perzine with writing and art by me. The first issue has 12 pages (plus the covers) and comes with a hand made ATC attached to the front cover. The interior is black and white photocopied.
I'm also working on an art zine that I'm calling Re:Art. The first issue is all about block printing - easy peasy techniques, project instructions, lots of print examples. It's almost done and will have 20 interior pages (mostly black and white photocopied, but I'm thinking of adding some hand printing, we'll see once it's copied) The cover will be hand printed.
You can find out about my other zines on my blog www.mistikosenvelope.wordpress.com. Sorry, I'm technologically challenged so there are no pics yet.
Let me know if you are interested in trading for any of them.

PS I'm in Canada
Ah it's only that since I can sell them on my own site at very little cost, I try not to let anything go for less than 70% even here - adding postage to Australia just complicates it further. However this is exactly why I'm barely to be found on any distro's... It's not a criticism of you, I recognise the costs and energy involved in distro-ing and wish you luck.
Hey - thank you. That was everything I needed to know. I think a 60/40 split would be prohibitive for me. But I admire you for paying immediately for the zines you want, I think that sounds like a very good way to operate.
Oh no! Well, I guess they can only get better from here... The other fair sounds great. You guys have heaps in Sydney. I can never seem to find any in Melbourne. There'll be five copies of Issue Two coming your way in two weeks or so. And the low-res PDF copy should be up on the website end of next week. I'm very excited to see it in print!
Oh yay! thankyou so much for your comments on Book Art, I have only really just started putting it out there, and was rather nervous about mailing it to the big review zines, you made me feel a lot more confident. Will def take your advice and join the mini-zine people.
I get what you're saying about price point, and it has been bothering me, but basically since it's a series of full colour artworks and ink is so expensive, they're basically only just paying for themselves at the point they're at. Working on black and white for the next issue though, which should help a lot.
Hello there! Would you ship zines to the US? I read on your blog about The War Between Words & Numbers and it sounds very interesting to me. Thank you, all good wishes and <3, Katie
