Oh darn, I just ran out of copies of Death Never Says My Dear. Would you be okay with just the other two? Maps is half sized, and they're both quite text heavy anyway. If that works for you, let me know. :)

I've been hearing great things about your zines! Would you be interested in trading sometime?

I want to do some of the traditional stuff, speeches etc though I may also give a speech, anyone who knows us knows G and I are equal. He doesn't like the name thing, he's prtective about his and wants me to take his name which knowing G is more to do with togetherness than control, we have discussed it and a doubble barrell sounds horrible. We may use my surname as a middle name so if we have a boy it would be John (after my step dad) Geoff (after his dad) Lancley Lee or a girl Amelia Jane (after my sister and nan) Lancley Lee so it's not a double barrell but it's there....maybe.

What I like about my wedding (if I have one) is that it will be myself, my mum and my sister walking down the aisle together. The women in my life that are important to me. I thought about doing a parade of women walking from my house to ,the church in processional.

The vows will be important G and I don't like 'obey' at all.

Having said all this we have quite stereotypical gender roles within the house, it plays to our strengths but importantly we work as a team

I am not doing too badly, although things are quite busy at the moment! It's good to hear that you seem to be getting back on track, and I very much look forward to hearing from you. :)

Hey there! I finished another issue of Pieces if you are interested in trading again. I would love issue #3. If you're not trading now, it's cool too. Just keep up the writing!

no I haven't but it certainly made me think. Ideally I'd like civil ceremony but I think probably I'll do all the traditional crap... cept my mum will walk me to the alter. I have been debating with G about the name thing, I hate double barrell and would like to keep his name but he and his dad object, I think it' odd having different names esp if we have kids. Will most probably stay a Ms tho.

WHAT??!!! The fuckers they weighed it at the Post Office!!! Grrr I knew that woman was shit!!! Oh dear still at least u didn't have to pay, that would have been bad :(. I've actually just finushed my issue 3 (today in fact) and should get it printed next week so shall I just send you a copy and we'll do a trade?

I loved your last one th article on marriage was brilliant - really made me think, it was so well argued and clear. Not sure Graham liked the debate it provoked but still.......

noo, not at all :) I really appreciated the comments
and I'm totally going to write you back, but I fail at writing letters within a reasonable amount of time and posting them once I've written them. *sigh*
Hope everything's well with you :)

I would absolutely love to trade! Yes, I have Not Lonely 01, so would love your next two. I have Sour Puss 03 (1/4size, about 20 pages?) and an 1/8 size one that is 40 pages that I made for a eurovision themed thing but it ended up just being a rambling perzine :D

I have been slacking, but finished your zine you sent very recently. I even talked about it a little on my blog I've been using to chronicle my Writing Journey. A lot of what you write resonated with me, as silly as that may sound. Thank you for inspiring me. :)

I received the letter a couple of days ago, thanks Hannah!
Will get back to you when the writing juices are flowing (ok, that sounded a bit grim.. I'm gonna pretend there was a better phrase there..)
knowledge is power, right? Sounds like a plan :)

Deal! Message me your address lovely :) I'm not doing too great to be honest, for some reason I've been absolutely wiped out the last few days, more than usual. Although it's been nice to just slump in front of the tennis with a packet of cookies ;) how are you lately?
xx

Hey Hannah, sorry for the late reply! I'd love to trade - I picked up #2 of your zine at the London Zine Symposium and loved it, so would you trade for #3? Are you sure you don't mind trading just for my mini zines? I feel bad trading for bigger and better zines! I'd be happy to send you some pennies too if you want :)
xx

Hey Hannah
aye, I've switched back to veganism now. I've already become re-accustomed to vegan cheese and dark chocolate, which is a surprise! Hope you're not turned off by either of those.. I know they took me a while to get used to when I first started out. I also tried out a new cake recipe and have tested on plenty of non-vegans for birthdays and such and it's actually gone down well- definitely a keeper.
Anyhoo, cake ramble over, hope you're enjoying the sunshine (or not..? I'm not sure how the Scottish weather is at the moment..)
