Thanks for having me in the group
Skins were big in my early years in the South Shore learned a lot and got into tons of Ska music of course by that point not everyone had shaved head but very short crew hair.
oi preto .. . someday me and you are gonna sit down in a pub an share a pint and talk about all the birds we've shagged. It will be fun as hell . . . and the great thing is that the we'll be married to them birds we shagged and they'll be off in another pub talking about us! ha ha . . . .
oi! we just got to keep trucking . . . not let the bosses turn us against each other. we all work for a living and we work hard and we gotta not let the bosses turn us . . . .
I send you sooooo much love from the states . . . you and all them cute little skinhead birds . . . oi oit to the end . . fishspit out
BUT teto . . . we weren't exactly the kind of skins you believe in. that was a long time ago (20 years ago!) but we were Nazi skins . . . I was so young .. . . I was so into being a part of a gang . . . it fucked me over . . .
when you is young and you are so outcasted, it feels so good to belong. but when you get older you start to just want fun and everyone to get along. I have a ton of picture of the old skinhead days for me . . . but they are all Aryan nations .. . and I left that behind in peace . . . but if you want pictures I have them from the good old days . .. if you wanna call them that. But that's not my world now.
I absolutely adore your site!!!!!!!!! You are awesome.
Oi oi! Tetro. . . do you know Brix SWix? He's also from Brazil. He once sent me a documentary about Brazilian punk and skin movement. He's on here and you should contact him.
I think the greatest ska band going right now is a band from goddamned Lincoln Nebraska! Of all places. They are called the Bishops and there's none of this rock and roll bullshit in their music that the kids like to rape the traditional with. They know their masters.. . . .Derrick Morgan, Tommy Mc Cook, Roland Alphonso and worship accordingly. Look them up if you have the time and tell them Fishspit sent ya!
Oi! Oi! oi!
Personally I like the hoodlums . . . combat 84, close shave, the kicker boys and moonstomp.
You must be a Kieth Morris fan like me. Yeah "Flag" is bangin pretty hard lately, if Greg Ginn would just stay off their ass and let them cut an album and quit trying to sue everybody for small nothings. Share the wealth guys. Jello Biafra has the same problem as Ginn and us the fans suffer over it. Peace...

That's really lame. There are a lot of misconceptions about skins, even within the scene. Heh you'd think skins would've been around long enough for people to know that they're not all alike, just like any other punks.
Yeah, 65 punks were arrested and taken to some sort of "moral rehabilitation" center or something because they were "tarnishing the country's image".
We're making a new one next year, so if you want I can save one of my contributor copies to trade with you then. If you include your email address in your letter I can put you on the mailing list so you'll know when it comes out, and then you can ask me to trade (& remind me I already said yes).
Ah! I'm sorry, I only trade my solo books, not the anthologies. I did recently print some copies of my story from Big Sexy because it's almost out of print, so if you had something small you wanted to trade we could do that. It's 4 pages from Big Sexy reformatted into a little 12-page booklet (about 14cm x 7.5 cm).
