OOH. Looks like I can't send you a message until we're friends. Anyway, I can definitely send you 'little' no. 6 The War Between Words & Numbers. If you deal with Paypal, I can send you an invoice for it.
I'd also be interested in doing a trade if you like... your zines look really cool and I make some zines myself. They have vague descriptions on the zines.wordpress.com blog - She Said, Tea & Biscuits, Don't Panic, etc. Let me know. Oh p.s my email is quiet.chirps@gmail.com
hello katie! :D yay! you know, i got your little note today! the other day i was thinking about you too.. because i felt a zine coming on. i hope you're doing well and are happy <3
Thank you so much for the zines! Sorry for the late reply but a bad case of 'man flu' has meant low functioning for me at the moment! I'm really enjoying working my way through at the moment. Also I got sent the Zine Yearbook and was pleasently surprised to see an introduction from you at the start! Nice work on that and I'm very happy to have some of the UK Zine Yearbook included!
I speak very minimal German as I learnt French at school, though it would be a help to learn German as a lot of scientific papers are in German!
I ended up going to Mulheim as Andrew Culture (who writes beat motel zine) was too scared to go alone, so a group of us went ove rwith him. There's a two day event next year, which hopefully we'll go to again.
The Boston not Boston zine is about Boston in Lincolnshire (lancashire?) and the music venue there and is basically an account by various local zinesters of their times there. Steve has drawn the front cover and a centre spread featuring all the local music community. So not Boston, USA I'm afraid!
I met him at the Mullheim zine fest in Germany. He was running sticks and stones distro (i think) but holly who is the day to day propreitress was ill so I didn't meet her. Since then I've bumped into him at both the London and Manchester zinefests. Aswell as Rum Lad he's done stuff in "this is Boston not Boston" and a collaborative comic with other UK zinesters/artists which I have temporarily forgotten the title of! Have you seen either of those?
Wow! You have a solid output of writing! How about a swap of issue 5 of The New Wave for the latest issue of The La La Theory? When I get paid I will pick up your other stuff too! Also that Estsy website is awesome and shall be looked into soon!
Have fun at the zinefest, I went to one all the way up in Manchester...exactly a month ago in fact. Was great fun to pick up some northern zines. I shall look forward to the receipt of the zines...as for the one i'm making, still more in head than on paper i'm afraid:(
Ello, just been told about this site, looks like you may have been here for a while. How goes life? (in case you're wondering wh's randomly posting on your wall its Steve from myspace). I've been particularly lazy in getting back to people :S.
The Fest will be grand. We will do the Craft show; I think it's $35 for a table, so splitting would make it a little more reasonable. Yeah, I figured Whole Foods was a no-go. I called to make sure and the guy said it's rescheduled for the 17th of October (I think), so maybe then. Looking forward to seeing you and getting lots more zines that I won't have time to read until December. Oh, Jack will be there for a bit. He's crazy, and big, and lots of fun.

Would love to send it to you. I'm sure the zinemaker will be stoked. I'll send you a message.
