hey candace,
i sent you my zine 'coathanger' earlier this year. just thought i'd say herro, wish you a happy festive season, and to let you know that i'll be in melbourne at the end of january and will poke my head into sticky. :)
Hi there! Don't suppose there is any chance of being able to stock Giantess or any of your other wonderful zines again is there?? I'll shoot you a proper email if you think it might be :D x
yeah, i'm at the infamous po box 4.
i'll send you a letter & a dollar really soon.
& old zines, yeah - a newish friend recently told me they were reading their flatmate's copies of zines i made back in highschool...
Hey Candance, I'll put that on my list of things to do when I get home. My sister and I are driving back to Portland from Texas and I'm currently in the middle of Kansas. I'll get those out when I get home!
back issues of jutchy ya ya are easy. it's the cut and paste ones that are a pain to reprint. how far back does your jutchy ya ya library go? there are dates on the back of all of them - not an easy way to tell what's what, but let me know and i'll put together a care package of jyy back issues.
yeah, esther was amazing. i kept picking up zines based on how interesting they were, and half of the time when i'd get them home to read, they'd turn out to be by her.
is there a pm function on this site? what's the most anonymous way to swap postal addresses? i'm assuming anonymity is the desired quality in such exchanges.
my freebie isn't anonymous. it's jutchy ya ya - that's probably the one you know? it's the one i do the most. the others are either defunct or very side-project-y.
i love the idea of a princess toadstool zine. and the sugar thing sounds cool. did you ever see the zine that came in a chicken roll packet from a school canteen? one of esther singer's amazing efforts, I believe. she's amazing.
do you have any of the toadstool ones left? I'd love to see either that or the sugar packet one - wanna swap? I can do some back catalogue reprints of things if you'd like (ooh now there's a statement I hope I can back up with action...)
hey candace. just trawling through to find aussie zinesters to start with. i love the title "giantess", and I also love that you do a free/anon zine too. what do you do with it? I do a free zine and i try to make sure i have copies on me at all times to leave in cafes/pubs/libraries/trams/inside the front cover of street mags...
