Cruel! Telling me that you have almost all of them! When I was on the hunt for back issues, I think I came across her having written somewhere that she no longer had anything available, thus the heartbreak, and the plea on WMZ. Fingers crossed someone somewhere has some they want to part with.
hi! so i read that you also write literary zines (well you sais perzine and literary zine hi-bred,actually), but anyways... i was just wondering if you would want to take part in a collaboration literary zine. it's still just an idea, but if people would want to participate, then it should be fun... there is a discussion on main, if you're interested and would like to get more info. also, it is further explained on my site: < http://wagmahiya.wordpress.com/collaboration/ >
I've applied to have a stall thingo at the TINA Zine Fair, so hopefully i'll be up in Newcastle in October having fun with fellow zinesters. Are you heading up?
I will fill out the forms for Sticky and go visit my friends at the Post Office soon! ;-)
Yes, quietly working away - shall be in Sticky either tomorrow or Friday to drop off the 'new and improved' issue of D&M (the new acronym I've decided on for 'dilettantes & heartless manipulators). Elle's made a good suggestion that may make issue 3 also 'new and improved'... but alas, I'd already printed issue 2, so it couldn't be brought in for that. You at Sticky now?
hey candace... thank you so much for the feedback! crazy that you've got a copy, as i only did a limited print run of 50. and you know what makes it even scarier? it is now 10 years of age! i just dug out my only copy the other day and there it was... 1999. crazy! will def sent over a copy of the next zine, similiar vane to 'this is not a happy ending' as it contains pull-outs - how exciting! ps. just caught the news re fires in victoria, i hope all you friends and family are okay:)
Heya Candace! You know what, a friend of mine from Philadelphia recently moved to Melbourne with his wife (who's Australian) and just the other day he emailed me to say he'd been to Sticky! They knew about it already, but when I told them my zines were there they were pretty damn impressed. Or maybe I was the one who was impressed with myself.
