Hey Klose, could you send any info to raceatinternalmonologue [at] hotmail.com
The lag is ridiculous, I was looking to create a special distro address but I can't at the moment cause my internet is so slow!
Thankyou, and sorry for the inconnvience.
I will send you a bunch of stuff when I can (in two weeks at the fastest)
They're medium/ish books - maybe about 350 pages? Can't you get a replacemnt card - I know in Birmingham its not that expensive...maybe £2 or so (having lost my library card many a time). I read the odyssey a long time ago and I've read a little bit of the Aneiad (sp?) because I had to do it for my Latin GCSE but thats roman so a little bit different. I haven't read any of the books you mentioned so I'll have to look them up.
I just love all of the day to day living of people in different times/cultures, different classes, clothing, food - all of that sort of stuff. I just love history :D
I'll think some more on the Harry Potter stuff and whip myself into action (my issue is that I have ideas and then never write them down). I'm glad you like the ideas...
Yeah its real lovely here in Birmingham :) I love all the ancient worl sort of stuff - have you ever read any Troy or Ithaka by Adel Geras...I'm pretty sure they'd be in the young adult section of the bok shop/library but they're really good books relating to Troy (surprise surprise). Another of my favourite books is Snakebead by Ann Halam (sp?) which deals with Perseus. As your interested in that period, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you read them. Hopefully we can work something out (school permitting - I'm supposed to be revising for GCSE)
As for the Harry Potter I''m thinking about a quidditch playing annniversary? Or omething with Black in (can't for the life of me spell s first name)? Or after book 7 with an anniversary of voldermorts death? I'm still thinking - should get writing soon though - if I don't I'll just procrasinate and then you'll never get anything.
i didnt realize that i forgot to set a deadline. i updated it and the deadline is March 30. :) i hope you could participate, and also get people to do it. it's fun and it's a win-win thing since you get to do stuff for yourself. i myself am using it as an excuse to spend time on just me. lol.
