Hey Thanks! For our website we are using Joomla, which is a free web developing program, and a domain that we are using for free right now, but wouldn't cost too much from any domain provider. Joomla is pretty easy to use though, and there are all sorts of ways to adapt your site to fit your needs. We weren't savvy enough to create our own site from the ground up so we got a template, which was easy enough to find and pretty flexible, and have picked up a few additional widget type things to alter it a bit. There are lots of tutorials, and so far it has suited our needs.  The stuff you are working on is really really neat! We would love some submissions!!! And if you have any extra copies of the stuff you have put together we would love to trade with you!

"I think the solution for ending the art monopolies is the government forcing them to choose one or the other." What 'one or the other' are you referring to? I would love to get a copy of MUSEA from you, are you open to trading ? (:
When the gov. busted Hollywood 1948? it was because they made the films and they owned the theaters that played the films too. They had to choose one or the other. They couldn't do both.
I would suggest the Big 6 media companies can do any one of the following, but not all three like now (and surely not all the arts that they now control)
1. make the art
2. distribute the art
3. review and promote the art on their media.
Example, make the film, distribute the film and review and promote the film on their talk shows, news shows, etc.
or make the book distribute the book and review and promote the book through their media. Make the record, distribute the record, and review the record through their media. That would give some competition and vitality to the arts again.
For trades - maybe, first check out my zine site for many years of back issues, and my blog for more up to date entries. Then if you like my 8 page quarterly, let me know.

They make almost all the art! Their companies, choose the artists, make the art, distribute the art, and then through their media applaud the outcome. Search this term "Big 6 monopoly in media." or this interview, http://www.musea.us/intervie.html

nothing yet, looking to collaborate on projects!

Sometime in the near future I'll be working on illustrating some short stories with my writer friend --which will hopefully be enough material for a zine.

How about you? :)
