and no rush on the lil' "mini-review"...definitely take your time. thanks for even considering it! i read some Contradictory last night - i was really inspired by your pick n' choose editing...espcially the last page that you chose to edit out! love it...it's really working that whole reverse psychology thing of speaking volumes without words.
i'd love to hear about any future volumes - i'm totally into future trades/purchases! i think the people in my zine library are going to get in the habit of demanding the latest Contradictory..:).
Just wanted to say that I just received and read your first issue of Contradictory. (I've been away a few days visiting people and haven't been able to check my post - which is why i might be late to reply).
Actually, I read it last night and immediately just had loads of ideas buzzing round my head, things I wanted to discuss with you. So I wrote you a letter, with feedback and thoughts and I'm going to send it off within the next week.
whooo! i got your post last night! right on! my hats off to you with 'contradictory #1' - it totally adds to the library, i can't wait to share it with others. :)
you should be getting my post soon! i hope you enjoy!
also hope to stay in conctact, but adios for now! :D
sorry, i answered your email before i saw the comment you left here! maybe your zine and a dollar or a couple stamps? i'm not worried about it, i just like sending my zine out to people who're interested!
right on! i'm glad you like the donut button. :). and yeah - i'm always up for a trade. should i email my snail mail address to your gmail account listed above? musicalrainbows? (i love that name, by the way!!)
you can email your mail address to firstname.lastname@example.org!! yay a trade! i'm excited. :)
yeah, we should totally do a trade! send me a message with your address, mine's on my profile. and unfortunately [for you--i think they are embarassing], all the older issues of my zines are out of print forever!
Would you be up for a trade--issue #1 of Contradictory for an issue of RatBrat? It's a perzine that talks about similar issues and experiences to the ones you described. The latest issue is the "love" issue--romantic and nonromatic love. But I have back issues too.
