I'm really glad you like 'The Beast' :-). It was a very different project for me, subject-wise, but I was really pleased with how it turned out & it was a good excuse to experiment with format (not that I generally need excuses to play!)...

Yes the zine fair was much fun. Although similarly I didn't get around to all the stalls throughout the day :( Did you guys do well?

Hey Anne, I just read the comment you left on Susy's blog re zines at my exhibition. I will have zine that I'm making especially for the show, plus hopefully some copies of one I made not too long ago. I've given the last of my other zines to Susy Pow to sell at an event on June 11th at the MCA (I think) - I'm not entirely sure of the deatils about that though! Anyway, I hope you can come along to my show - sorry I missed you at the MCA the other week. ta-ra.

Oh! "SHOE" is just the title of a zine I did. It's one of the ones I'll be sending to you.

You can do your zine for the trade about absolutely anything... the ONLY real requirement is that it be a mini (generally that means quarter-sheet-sized or smaller). I'll be compiling the final list of participants in about a week, at which point I'll send everyone the list of addresses.

I hope that clears things up a bit! :)

all i can say is promote mini zines, trade with the folks in the group, and get people to join the group. we have a second all group trade going on, which should be good. i don't think i will be in the second trade but we have a lot of good folk in the group who do a lot of cool mini zines!
