Zine Trades

This is my favourite way to distribute copies of my zine, and get copies of other peoples'. Since I signed up here in the summer, it's been going pretty well, but lately, I've noticed that I'm sending a lot of stuff out and not getting much back. Maybe it's just that it's getting cold out and no-one wants to leave their house.

I just sent out a few emails asking some people if they've received my zines, because I know that's how I used to keep track of trades - by sending back whenever I got one in the mail. Now I'm a lot more organized, although I did manage to send out my last set twice because I didn't mark down that I'd sent them out before, d'oh! >.<

It wouldn't be a big deal really, I know people get confused or forget and so forth. But consider this a friendly nudge to tell me what's up on your end, cos I'm hangin' here!

By that same token, if I've arranged to trade with anyone and you haven't received my zines, please let me know! Sometimes I forget to write things down and it gets lost.

i really hate when i send my stuff and then i never recive an answer/email or a package back from trade.this happen this year like 3 times and i hate the feeling of been used.because you get your time to do copies of your stuff,do a proper package,write a letter ,go to the post office and pay.ANd then you dont get any stuff back :(

I've been noticing this a lot lately, too... I have several people I've commented to and got no response or an "I don't know." it's not THAT big a deal, except I don't have much cash at the moment, and I can't afford to just send my zines off willy nilly with nothing in return, as much as I'd love to be able to. and I don't want to have to stop trading, it's awesome.

anyway, I received yours yesterday and I was going to mention it but I haven't even opened it yet due to studying- so yeah, have it, but nothing useful to say yet. (though I know I'll love it.) :) also, mine should be well on the way to you, I sent it off a few days ago.
