Today I put up my new zine review blog, Too Many Cookies. A funny name, one would say, and it is, because as I was trying to think of a name, I was simultaneously thinking about how I had just eaten way too many blueberry brown sugar cookies in the previous five minutes. This happens a lot.

After telling Amber I wanted to do zine reviews, she said, “You should! How else do you hear about zines?” And it’s so true. Independent media needs independent everything, including exposure. I like mainly perzines with a feminist slant, art zines, various themed zines using different kinds of printing methods and design.. and I have recently been getting into zines about travelling, so these types of zines will probably be the type I will be sticking to reviewing.

If you want me to review your zine, please e-mail me for a snail mail address. 90% of them will go to the Niagara College Zine Library which I run.
