Tim Scannell, R.I.P.

I'm sorry to have inform everybody that Tim Scannell died on September 24, after a 9-year battle with cancer. A family member e-mailed me today about it.

Tim initiated a trade with me and we traded a few times afterward. Behind his often spontaneous and candid comments, and eccentric style of expression, there was a kind person. I didn't know him well, but was glad to known him as papernet pal.

Tim's address should be easy to find on this site. Some of you may want to send something to it. Maybe his family will get it, though I'm not sure.

RIP, Tim. I'm glad you lived life positively, bravely and to the fullest.

It is a shame his profile was deleted. He commented on so many posts. I looked to see if I could somehow reinstate with some editing, but I can't.
