The Prince Zine

So I'm just finishing up a project that has taken two years to finish, a study into the artist currently known as Prince. Simply called The Prince Zine, it'll be coming out on Saturday, March 12th. Events have just been created on the Ms Valerie Park Distro Facebook for the reading and the release party. If you're in the area, you should come!

This is a release party for The Prince Zine, a two year research project into the artist currently known as Prince. This is an all-night, all Prince dance party. Come dressed like Prince, or in purple, raspberry beret, etc. Five dollar admission cost gets you a copy of the zine.

Joshua James Amberson and Alexis Wolf will be reading from their respective research zines- one on the artist currently known as Prince (The Prince Zine) and one on early feminist Mary Wollstonecraft (Hyena in Petticoats: A Mary Wollstonecraft Zine). Odd bed fellows, for sure, but a certain kind of sense will be made of it all. But you have to come to find out what it is.
