"The Best of Intentions Avow Anthology" is fucking incredible. Keith Rosson's short stories are profound, profane, pro-active and professional--not to mention entertaining and amusing as hell! This book is well worth the $12, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants something meaningful and yet fun to read. If you're unsure about buying it, just read a few of the stories and look at some of the pieces of awesome artwork and you will realize that Rosson is a transcending zinester. You don't have to listen to punk music or really have any prerequisites aside from the ability to read and retain good writing and taste.
Keith is one of a few Portland authors right now that truly impress me--also Kevin Sampsell, Sven Bonnichsen and Ceylon Anderson come to mind. Rock on!
