a place for zinesters - writers and readers
An hour or so again I sent Fate magazine a (belated) e-mail in response to their Sept.-Oct. 2010 issue. It was at fate@fatemag.com. About 15 minutes ago I got a "Maeler-Daemon" failure notice saying they couldn't deliver it. I've got the magazine right in front of me and I can't see a single letter out of place.
So I went to their website, www.fatemag.com, to see if they had a more up-to-date e-mail address. Usually, right on the home page, fairly easy to find, there's a a "contact us" button. I looked up and down and around and around. None there. I clicked on successive buttons, and scoured the whole stupid site. Absolutely not "contact us" or e-mail address.
So, I printed out the e-mail and the failure notice with a brief note explaining all this, put it in an envelope---fortunately they do have a physical address, though I hope that isn't dead too---and will mail it, hoping for the best.
When the last POB is closed out, and even the antiquated soon-to-be luddite e-mail address is finally abandoned by the e-lite, how in the hell I'm I going to communicate with anybody? Facebook, Twitter, you say? Oh my God. Please. Help me.

Comment by StrayCat on March 19, 2011 at 3:19am The last paragraph was a good laugh. I've got to Facebook this!
This is the closest thing to electronic contact with Fate that I could find:
http://fatemag.com/catalog/contact_us.php?osCsid=9ca5cef81affcd79c5...
I hope that helps.
You were right, though, there is no email address, or easy way to contact them on the website. Not even in the directory!
