We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

As my work is displayed more and more across this city and via hear-say and say-hear, people are showing interest to the point of purchase &/or commision of interviews or trade and wearing patches.

The other week at Mia’s (local bar), this guy Kevin recognized me from my art show from the prior month at Tacos Locos and mentioned his interest in my art for an album cover. I have yet to hear his work, but am thoroughly interested in such a project. The idea of collaborating work, with not only another person but another form of art can definitely be a challenge but worthy. From the point of gaining momentum and true interest in art at age 15, music has always been a background savior, midnight company and just my cup of tea; inspiration and a rush of brain fuel to replenish what i dish onto my canvas, paper, collage, etc.

Speaking of dish, my leftover bean&rice burrito sounds delish.

I’m still working on my art portfolio cd to send or deliver to ART ONE Gallery in scottsdale, because not only are they the sh*t, I also believe i have a decent chance at displaying my work in their venue. Cross your fingers cross your [p]heart
