We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Poems written during May of 2011 [poem notes in brackets like this]
1. [My version of an Haiku by Issa ]
a world of suffering
and yet... and yet...
the flower opens -
2. ['Fraid of Ghosts? then read on]
Usually we listen
to materializing ghosts
but this one rambled
with nothing to say.
soon being startled
was replaced by boredom
and most left the room
to do other things.
3.  [book lovers? spring lovers?]
two flying pages
announcing spring
flittering flittering
moth on the wing
4.  [separated lovers rejoice]
Both of us
though far apart
looking at the
same whole Moon
5. [kid's poem]
the boat docks
for a chat.
6.  [ sleep after this one!]
sunset begins
and lurking night
starts to creep
from house to house ...
7. [a quatro poem]
wax fruit
in neon light
8. [For the night owls]
So deep into the night
across the hills and valleys
that only left are the Moon and I
to gaze at the earth and stars.
The dog doesn't care if you are famous
Consciousness is the beginning of an awakening
My first novel is out. It tells the story of how I got my first novel out.
Some flowers are cut. Most wither on the vine.
Catabolic and Anabolic don't blend!!!
The boy on crutches is skipping!!!
